Bio


Brady Callicott is a dedicated performer and educator from Katy, TX. Brady has served as the Principal Tuba of the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra as well as Substitute Principal Tuba of the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas and the Lawton Philharmonic.

During his time at Oklahoma State University, Brady was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for both the Tuba/Euphonium studios and the Cowboy Marching Band. For the Tuba/Euphonium Studio, he has taught lessons, routine classes, the Tuba/Euphonium ensemble, and ran the studio socials. For the Cowboy Marching Band, he assisted and taught portions of rehearsals, ran sectionals, handled the music library, maintained equipment, and led pep bands. All of this highlighting his versatility as an educator.

Brady currently serves as a Graduate Assistant in the University of North Texas College of Music admissions office and as a private lesson teacher in McKinney ISD. As a Graduate Assistant Brady provides tours, informational talks, and serves as a representative of the College of Music at college fairs. As a private lesson teacher Brady teaches beginners, middle school, and pre-college aged students on both tuba and euphonium.
